I had a fun childhood growing up in England. As you can see from the photo of me taken in 1950 at Blackpool, I love the sun (note the trendy sunglasses). But Manchester wasn’t the best place to find it so in my twentys, it was off to Australia.
Things I love: My Aussie husband, the farmer; my sons and their partners; grand-daughter Lillian; books, all kinds of music, travel, white wine, France, cheese, French bread, Venice, meals cooked for me, making lists.
Things I hate: Tattoos on young women, hoons in cars, oysters, bigots, clutter.
